Baby Boy #2

We have started telling people the name we have picked out for the baby so I thought I would share...especially since there is a Caden story to go with it. :)

Last week, Caden's teacher at Mother's Day Out asked him what his baby brother's name was going to be so he told her Noah Lion. When she questioned the lion part of the name, he said yeah Noah Lion and then proceeded to sing "In the Jungle". (one of his favorite songs to sing right now, he loves The Lion King) I made sure to tell her we were planning on naming him Noah Rylan.

Potty Training

We are currently potty training Caden and he is doing really good! I'm very proud of him! We have had our setbacks and fair share of poopy big boy underwear to wash out (and when I say we wash the underwear out, I mean Jimmy. He has been the best husband ever because, being pregnant, I still can't handle strong smells), but overall Caden has done well. We are still working on him telling us when he needs to go instead of just taking him once in awhile, but we will get there. I have found the trick to potty training is finding the right candy as a reward. For Caden, it wasn't Reese's Pieces or even M&M's but we finally tried Jelly Beans and those have worked wonders! :) He loves the yellow lemon ones!

Jumping In!

Ok, I have decided to go ahead and try this. Hopefully, I can keep up with it. :) Caden is 2 and I am 23 weeks pregnant so I thought this would be a good place to be able to write down and keep memories of what happens in our daily lives. I may be a little bias, but I always think Caden does or says something funny or interesting and would like to be able to look back and remember those things.
